A New Chapter Begins - Merging DumaysDance and iLoveDanceShoes
iLoveDanceShoes history dates back to 2011, was founded in 2011 by Fiona Wang, a passionate dancer with experience working in the fashion industry, founded iLoveDanceShoes in Montreal, Canada. The decision was made after years of dancing Argentine tango and Latin dances, realizing that it was very hard to find quality and stylish dance shoes at reasonable prices. After connecting with suppliers, dance studios, dance instructors, students and collecting first hand feedback, Fiona decided that it was time to take on the challenge and to introduce her own line of dance shoes. She is dedicated to helping other dancers to find their stylish and personalized dance shoes.
Our goal at iLoveDanceShoes is simple. We want to bring our customers quality, reliable, comfortable and stylish shoes where you don’t have to sacrifice style or over spend the budget. We travelled extensively to discover new styles, new materials, and new dance techniques in order to bring the most up to date trends from the capital of Tango: Buenos Aires and the dance studios of New York, London and Paris. Now our dance shoes and accessories are available through the best tango, ballroom and salsa schools as well as retail dance stores in Montreal and all over the Canada.
Established in 1968, DUMAYSDANCE (SUPADANCE CANADA) is a respected family-owned company known globally for its wide variety of dance shoes and accessories. The family business started selling shoes from their garage, during a time where ballroom dancing was very popular (both sisters danced in their childhood) but dance shoes were hard to come by, especially in Montreal!
