The festivities kick off with a bang at the Hyatt Regency Calgary's Thomsons Restaurant. From 9 pm to 2 am, attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with international guests and warm up for the exhilarating weekend ahead. The highlight of the evening? A special set by celebrity DJ Edwin Rivera from Los Angeles, ensuring that the dance floor stays hot all night long.
Friday, April 5, 2024: Competition and Local Showcase
Friday is all about showcasing talent and competition. Throughout the day, competitions unfold, featuring professional and amateur couples, solo showcases, and more. In the evening, the Local Showcase takes center stage, highlighting the incredible talent of both local performers and international guests.
Saturday, April 6, 2024: Gala Night
Saturday ups the ante with a Gala Night at the Hyatt Regency Calgary. Attendees can indulge in optional workshops led by international instructors, perfecting their moves from 10 am to 4 pm. The day culminates in breathtaking competitions, including Pro-Am showcases and team performances. After the international showcase, dancers can join in for Salsa & Bachata classes before dancing the night away until 3 am across multiple dance rooms.
Sunday, April 7, 2024: Workshops and Grand Finale
The final day of the congress is packed with optional workshops and last-minute competitor check-ins. Attendees can soak up knowledge from world-class instructors in various dance styles. The day crescendos with the Masters Jack 'N' Jill Competition, featuring instructors and international guests, followed by social dancing until 2 am.
