The Hotel
Hotel Bonaventure is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, Quebec, one of Canada’s most beautiful cities. It’s a chassé away from the Old Port, museums, and great restaurants. It’s also right across from the Gare Central and the orange metro line which makes inner-city travel a breeze. And it has a heated outdoor pool. Need we say more?
The Event
Founded in February 1977 La Classique is a World Dance Council (WDC) ranking event and open to professionals, amateurs, pro-am, seniors, and juniors in both International and American Styles. Couples may also compete in the same-sex category.
Pink Gala
This year La Classique Du Quebec has partnered with the Cancer Research Society Association which will take place on Thursday, February 13th. This will be a special event to help raise awareness for a special cause and to support ongoing cancer research.
As the competition continues throughout the weekend they will be raising money throughout the event and on Saturday, February 15th in the evening will eagerly announce the amount they have collected. With this amount, they will provide a check to the Cancer Research Society in support of the tremendous amount of work they have given to loved ones to continue cancer research.
