Professional Dancers Talk About Avoiding Injury

It’s not called dancesport for nothing. Einstein said it correctly when he said “Dancers are the athletes of God”. Movements that look simple and easy from a distance require time and patience to master, to do correctly and safely. And like any other sport, injury can occur -- but there are things that you can do to minimize the chances. We sat down with some top professionals to ask their advice. Here’s what they had to say:




Always remember that if you do injure yourself it is important to stop what you’re doing, talk to your instructor, and get medical help. And soon enough you’ll be back on your feet.
